Its leaking in a big way

Got in the car and the roof is leaking in a big way, both seats are soaked, it seems to be coming in where those 2 rubbers meet above the window

Tuscan gearbox has gone too so looks like I'll be getting a wet arse if I have to go anywhere

That's not good
Mine only leaks if I put the roof up without winding the windows down first.
You could also try adjusting the brackets which clip onto the windscreen - tighten the seal up a bit.

I find I tend to have to make sure the rubbers seat properly at the top there whenever I put the hood up - they usually need a little prod to get them to sit in the little 'collector' bits at the top of the A-pillars.

Just taken it over to my garage and dried the seals and gave them a good coating of silicon spray. Its the bit where the 2 rubbers meet together half way back along the window. Hoping the spray might help also got a fan heater in the car trying to dry it out

Is it an old roof? A new one may be in order.

roof is in great condition, no marks or splits so don't think it should need replacing but might look into replacing the rubber seals.

It does appear to be a common weakpoint. Ultimately unless you replace the seals (from the likes of Moss), it's unlikely to go away. Although re-seating them does appear to help.

i tried everything with my seals, taking them off and stuffing them with foam then positioning them further out to make stronger contact with the window - still leaked.

replaced the hood after it got slashed and problem solved even tho it looked in good condition (few very small cracks along edge) and hadn't shrunk anywhere near as bad as others i've seen.

I found front part of the rubber where it meets the top of the a pillar goes pourous(sp?) smeared some vasaline on it , and removed the excess and its been dry since

The seals do their party trick of filling up with water and then depositing it all over the occupants more regularly these days.

God, that car's costing me money. Its more like a classic than a modern car...

Spray with silicone lubricant

Also you could try adjusting the catches if it is leaking from the front.
