Just got back to Brighton from a little jaunt to Wheels in Motion at Chesham (oh boy, the M40 was fun on the way back) for a full alignment.

I thought the car handled blooming well before it went it. Turns out the wheels were doing the automotive equivalent of a confused octopus giving poor directions. They were all over the place.

Blimey, it's good now. Fantastic equipment at WIM, great people and the settings are now spot on. Extremely impressed.

I may be out quite a bit over the weekend......

Can I ask how long it took and how much?

Always considered doing it myself, but it's a case of getting the time to go and sort it.

Took just over an hour and was just under a ton.

I really really can't believe the difference it has made. The car is so much nicer to make progress in now.

Interesting... I've been hearing some very good things about WIM.

Do you know if they are able to supply & fit new bushes etc?

Not sure about the bushings. Probably worth a phone call to be honest.

Probably a good plan... no point having the alignment done then doing the bushes!

They should be able to do bushes. Tony has not only taken on the new centre, but some new staff, including another Tony who's doing the mechanical side - he was fitting lowering springs to an NC when I was in yesterday. Give Tony a call, he's a great chap and always happy to help.
