I've just managed to pick up a set of OEM 15" 5 spokes for rather silly price so I can now get my originals refurbed and I'm thinking of a subtle change in colour.

What's the consensus on this after & before picture (not my exact car, but same colour)?

I'm calling it 'shiny dirt' colour!

And does anyone know of a good powder coater in the Brighton area?

Personally I'd go the other way and make them darker. A nice dark grey/gunmetal colour or even gloss black.

Just to be clear, the after is on top, the bottom is 'current'.

I don't want to go too dark as I don;t think the body colour could take it. Maybe a bit darker than the top pic though.

ETA: Now added some explanatory text to the pic.

I have been doing this a lot recently...

I use Lap Tab in Birmingham and go for their Shadow or Black chrome colour.

It looks stunning.

I know its too far for you but the colours are shown on their website and may be helpful

Cheers for that. They seem to have a branch in Fareham which is rather close.
