RX8 - Buying a used one- Top-tips required please.

Hello,

A friend of mine wants to buy his wife an RX8, neither of us know sod all about them so can anyone give their top-tips if looking at an earlier car with approx 60k on the clock? I read the reviews when they came out and they claimed to have fixed the usual wear issues with the Wankel unit, is that proving to be true?
