Best exhaust for a Mk 2.5?
Discussion
IMO yes, I have one on my MK1 eunos, it is slightly louder with a deeper tone than the Larini that my son has on his. If you are planning to fit it yourself access to two or for post lift makes things alot easier. I fitted the Larini without and it is quite difficult to raise the car enough to slide the old one out. When i fitted mine I broke one of the studs on the cat and need a oxy.acetlyne torch to remove it which I would not want to do lying on my back under the car.
On both Mk1's the original is one piece which I couldn't get out without cutting it. The Larini and MX5 Parts replacement are two piece so are easy to fit. IMO the MX5 parts one is better in that it comes with new gaskets and S/steel bolts, nuts and washers. I was lucky with mine as it was at the special offer price but even and full price is very good value for money. The other thing to note is that is difficult to remove the rubber hangers lying on you back. You will not be disappointed with either system.
