Hmmm raining inside and outside the car this morning, made for an entertaining journey to work.

Any tricks of the trade to stop me getting a wet arm tomorrow?

Depends where its leaking from, if its a seal you might get away with a bit of vaseline but if its the roof itself then you might just need a new roof.

I think if the roof itself is cracked on the edge, then water gets in and then leaks between the rubber join between the two seals at the top of the window.

Temporary fix is to bosh some gaffa tape where the split is, but without seeing pics I'd say you're probably looking at a new roof.

i originally thought my seals had gone as everytime it rained, i got a wet arm / leg... but then i had to get a new roof after mine got slashed and that cured the problem (even tho i didn't think it looked too bad!)

Get some silicone/PTFE lubricant in an aerosol from a motor factor, spray on a bit of kitchen towel and rub over all the seals. Worked for me.

It can only be a seal, i refuse to think that I could need a new roof - it's not even 6 months old yet!
I'll try some of the suggested ideas, of course glorious sunshine today, so will have to wait and see if it's worked!

You have a leaking Mk3??? I'd take it to the dealer for a warranty fix!
