My Eunos has just developed two annoying problems and I do not know if they are related. First off, when I get in the car and go to drive off I do not have any power steering, car is very heavy to steer for the first few seconds, then it is fine? Problem does not re appear until I park up and turn off the engine??

Also, when I am driving with the headlights up I get a horrible screeching noise from under the bonnet. It is only there between 2000-2500 rpm and then disappears. I have looked for any loose belts, all fine and the power steering fluid is fine???

Sounds like a slipping belt to me. Putting the lights on increases the load on the alternator.
Maybe if the belts are tight enough it needs new belts...
