Lots of white steam/smoke and a bit of a misfire???
Discussion
Topped up the oil last night as was a bit low on the dipstick. Started her up this morning and she struggled to idle and there was more white smoke than normal on a cold day. Kept the revs above 2k until she warmed a bit and then she was ok - no worries on the drive to work.
Possible that I topped up too much so the engine was trying to crank through too much cold oil? Or could it be something else?
Going to do a full oil and filter change on Wednesday to clear her out.

Well it was pretty cold this morning so that could explain the steam, and the lumpy idle could just be a little bit of damp on the electrics after sitting with a heavy frost on the car particularly if it wasn't used yeaterday.
Probably nothing to worry about as long as it isn't a regular occurrence!
