hey folks, a couple of quick qns about my '5

firstly, do you know if it's possible to buy a replacement glass window for my soft top? I've seen PVC replacements on mx5parts but wondered if there was a glass replacement that would fit the existing aperture?

secondly: it doesn't live in the garage at the moment and it quite often has condensation on the inside of the windscreen when I go out to get in it.. any suggestions on things I can do to combat this [car dehumidifier?] .... other than wait for summer!

Cheers

I'm assuming you have a MK1.
Yes you can get glass rear screens. I think it involves replacing the zip out panel. Or fit a MK2 roof and frame with a heated rear glass screen wink

Moisture in the car. It's a problem I have as well. Tips from the internet so far are. Check that the drain holes are all clear. If you are replacing parts of the roof make sure the "rain rail" is in good condition.

As a temporary fix get some of the silica gell packs used in packing electronics and put a few on the dash. Replace them when it's not having any effect.
