In my experience the old "winter is the best time to buy a soft-top" thing is a myth. Prices don't drop significantly.
The advice above to just buy one when you have the money (and find a good one) is the best advice biggrin

Hang on Irish... Didn't you get this one for a grand last year? wink I could be seriously tempted though as I'm looking out for one.

Are you free this weekend in case I want to come and have a look / drive?

Kinks.. Many thanks for the pointer..

No, it was alot more than a grand. However I will tell you what I paid and do you a deal (I never price in mods or other money sunk so you will get a deal!) I am around at the weekend but I am gone for the next three so now is good! Car is in East London.

I got my Berkeley on January 5th this year for a shedload less than I would've paid 6 months later.
January is the best month to buy any sort of car. Post Xmas, everyone needs the cash wink
