MOT........

Just mot'd the eunos, only failed on rear brake discs, excessively corroded, and rear tyres, below legal limit, oops...... anyway since getting the car back the electric aerial does not work? you can hear the motor making a whirring sound (very technical so stay with me here) but the aerial does not move up or down?
any ideas? is it likely to be a new motor or have they just loosened a connection somewhere??

most likely to have stripped the teeth on the plastic runner, common problem.
