My roof is slightly elevated on one side where it meets the top of the windscreen, I think due to a lack of tension on that side. Now I watched Mr Jimparts adjust it when he fitted my roof but cant remember how he did it - isn't there something you turn in the actual roof clip to tighten the spring?

ON the underside of the clip which is attached to the roof bow (the ones you clip to lock down!!) there is a Hex shaped bar with a plastic hinged clip slipped over it, simply pull this plastic back and tighten the hex bar to the tension required (may need a few goes to get correct tension and even adjust the other sid to compensate..... hope this is some help ???

PS: This is for a MK1 roof!!!

Cheers! Did help tighten it up, however my roof seems to have raised slightly on one side i.e. the join to the top of the windscreen pillar is perfect on one side but angles up slightly as you run your finger along the seal leaving a lip where it does not fit quite right. Does not let any water in but a bit annoying and not sure what to do.

Same on Mk2 wink

Take it back to JimParts and get them to adjust it. I don't think adjusting the latches will help - they only pull the roof in tighter, not up/down.
