It would have to sound REALLY bad stock to spend that much on a K&N filter!

ive got a pipercross on mine and everybody who has been in the snot rocket says it sounds like its running on carbs

I had the JR CAI on my old Mk1 - that sounded great! I got it cheap 2nd hand though, I wouldn't pay full price for one - it's not like they add anything to the performance (regardless of the claims).

i keep looking at them but they just dont justify the price ,
ebay is great ,
i might sell one of my cats ,
if i put rear and JDM i will get a good price ..
people are thick at times on ebay ,
ive been looking at ways of moving my filter into the nose cone away from the oven that is the manifold ,
when i get time i will crack on with it .
