Well, just picked up the car and driven it home 71 miles at night with the roof down!
Loving it - 1.8 S-VT - first proper convertible I've owned (other than a kit car) and its great, hood down on the motorway is not an issue, Stereo's not too bad... As for the handling, gently gently with the learning process I think!
Anyway, thanks for the advice and hopefully see some of you around!

With a bit of practice, you'll find that most roundabouts can now be negotiated on left hand lock.... Not that I encourage this sort of careless behaviour, etc. etc.
