Do all MK1 1.6 came with manual steering (not PAS)?

And if any, what is the year power steering is standard on those?

And same question for air conditioning.

I want to avoid cars with PAS and air conditioning.

I don't have a definitive answer for you but I do have a question.
Why do you want to avoid cars with PAS and AC?

my uk spec 1.8 hasnt got either , but ive got pas to fit , , buy one with and buy my manual rack and rip out the A/C

the eunos (jap import) generally always has PAS and air-con (and electric windows) as the japs tend to want a higher spec. i dont know if many eunoses ever came without them.

The wife's 1990 UK 5 has got power steering, but I've no idea if it was an option or not I'm afraid.
