AON do a discount scheme through the MX5OC. Check out the MX5OC forum for insurance suggestions. http://www.mx5ocforum.co.uk/

I'm currently insured with Ensign, via Adrian Flux (my car has mods)

The AON OC scheme is very good but only if you are +25 - preferably +30.

A-Plan came in WAY below anyone else!

IIRC £187 - fully comp, unlimited miles, business use, parked on driveway, Mrs. K as driver, etc, etc, etc ......

A plan was no good for me, I think they wanted about £1200 fully comp when more than came in at £600....

How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

Judging by your profile you must be a similar age to me and A Plan insured me fully comp, unlimited miles, on the street in Edinburgh etc for circa £550!

22 now but was 21 when I insured her. Mine is the lowest insurance group though, but I had zero no claims to use...

I was the same. Then I had a claim (car was driven into while parked...gerr). Claim sorted absolutly no problems. But the next years renewal quote was up from £450 to £1300 yikes (yes the cost of repair was less than the excess and suggested premium increase...the gits)

So I switched to A-Plan.

Ahh, I was 22 when I insured mine and had 3 years NCB, although I did have a non-fault accident on my record too which never helps.

That was Ensign through Adrian Flux. As I said in their favour was the claim was delt with very well, no fuss, take it to local body shop and get it fixed. But they wanted all their money back the next year. Thats not insurance, thats robbery.
