gaining some legroom in a mk2.5
Discussion
My wife has an Xreg 1.8i and I would really appreciate it more if I has a bit more leg room. I'm 6'4" and my knees virtually touch the steering wheel (which doesn't bloody adjust!).
Would putting in seats and door cards from a mk1 make enough difference to justify the expense/hassle?
Also, would the above seats just bolt straight in with no messing about?
Your thoughts most welcome.

Yes the seats bolt in.
The height of MK1 seats varies though but generally they are lower (so more headroom)
I can't see how you'd get more legroom with them.
One option would be to place spacers under the front of the seat / frame mounts so you are tipped back... but your wife might not like it.
