MY01 MX5 1.8is SVT Sport Value?

Hi

I'll be looking to sell my mx5 at the end of the month and wondering what i could get for it.

It's a top of the range 1.8 iS SVT Sport with 2 previous owners, 65k, dark metallic blue (cant remember the right name)has all the extra's available such as heated seats, 6 speed gearbox, remote boot, remote cetral locking,larger alloys, nardi steering wheel, clear indicators etc

good condition and well looked after.

not sure whether to sell privately or trade in.

help would be appreciated

well... if it had done <40k, and had the air-con option.. I'd buy it off you...

65k's nothing to worry about and the air con is 2 catches and a flick backwards

Not when it's raining. Also doesn't help to clear the windscreen!

I have recently purchased a MK2.5 1.8 VT Sport same colour etc 2002 on a 52 plate with 42K on the clock with 2 previous owners for £8500 from a dealer. So I would say yours may be worth about £7500 for a private sale due to the extra miles and it being a year older.
