Told you I wanted one back

And here it is. I went from the luxury (as a relative term) of a Mk2 1.8i to the basics of a Mk1 1.8i in snot green.
No power steering, wind up windows, no ABS, no airbags, interior like a bin liner and it's absolutely brilliant.
The view down the bonnet with the headlamps up is great and so are the fingernail-busting door handles. It's so different to my Mk2 it's amazing but doesn't disappoint.
Here's a couple of pics taken before the light faded.

And mine ... if you look up on the inner wing passengers side near the wiper motor there are a couple of relays , one of those is dim dip , remove it and you can have your side lights on without the lights up .
Yeah, that confused me a bit at first. I was thinking "OK, sidelights... no, I want sidelights... oh..." but I might change it, so as to not have the air brakes up all the time.
(although I do drive around with my headlamps on pretty much all the time anyway).
