My '94 eunos emits a buzzing sound when the key is turned to the second stop. This stays on till about 2-4 seconds after start up. Or else stops after 6 secs if I don't start. Also if I kill the engine when warm and re start it doesn't buzz. I always thought it was an oil pres. warning, but then again it didn't buzz when I blew the engine to shreds. Any ideas?

It's a stupid question I know but just to get it out of the way, it's not the seatbelt warning buzzer is it?!

That was going to be my suggestion too ! Seems to fit the description perfectly !

Definitely agree on the buzzer. When we changed the seats in our car we reconnected it and that's exactly what it did.

Unsurprisingly we disconnected it again shortly after! Very annoying

If it's the same as mine it's a seat belt buzzer. My belts also de-tension themselves too.

There's just a connection under the seat that runs to the catch mechanism. If you disconnect it, the buzzer should stop. But the de-tensioning thing will probably also stop working.
