headrest speakers in a UK 1.6 hreg ?
Discussion
folks,
The stereo in my '5 was sounding pretty pants so I did some snooping. turned out that the door speakers were shot - ordered some more from mx5parts which should improve things
I noticed that they also sold headrest speakers - and I did some checking and turns out my car has the spaces in the foam for them but no wiring - also the stereo wire loom has the front speakers wired to the rear - so don't think that they were ever installed.
I guess first question would be, is this expected?
2nd qn, if I bought some headreast speakers, are there any issues with running the wires underneath the central trim and up into the back of the seat? seems a simple job - but curious if people have had any issues with doing it?
Cheers
