folks,

I'm quite up for getting some white alloys for my mk1 blue mx5

a little googling and ebaying has proved fruitless. wondered if anyone might have some pointers?

much appreciated...

There are some Enkei Racing 5-spokes currently on ebay. I'm not sure if direct links to ebay auctions are allowed (not my item listing by the way) but the item number is 110110070488.

Hope that helps!

The Enkei alloys do look good on an MX-5. Alternatively, there are lots of cool wheels available in white that are popular in Japan but fairly uncommon on the roads here. Try searching for GAB, Racing Hart, Volk, Desmond, etc. Panasport wheels suit the MX-5 IMO but you might have to paint them white yourself!

There was a nice Desmond wheel called a Regamaster Evo which is (was?) available in white. The advantage of them is the saving on unsprung weight - I think they were only about 4kg each. They're hard to come by in this country (made in Russia I think) but there are some for sale now and again and they were available in 14"/15" with the right offset and stud pattern. Spoon did a wheel that was the same design (sorry, can't recall the name) but heavier.

This site is good for rare Japanese-fit wheels and might be worth keeping an eye on if you're prepared to wait for shipping: ICB Motorsport

Not a great pic but shows what the white Enkei 5 spokes look like on a blue Mk1:

Um might be a silly question, have you thought about either painting or getting some painted white?
