I mean...as an MX5 owner that dislikes convertibles and has spent X amount of pounds on trying to tighten up the chassis with various bars and bolts to secure the hardtop etc...why did they not build this?

Looks fantastic.

As do the MK2s which they actually sold in very low numbers.

Not everyone wants a convertible. I think it would have taken away a lot of sales from the FTO/ Integra/ 200 SX etc.

Yes it looks quite good, not having the soft top removes a large part of the fun for me though

I'd still love an NB Coupe but being so rare they cost a small fortune when they do come up for sale.

There's one for sale in Kong Kong

I love an MX5, but who in their right mind would pay £30k for one.
I suppose that's why its not selling.
