I’ve just bought a March 24 MX-5. The original Aerial bugs me, it’s too long.

Is there a shorter aerial that can be bought to swap it out for? Like a stubby aerial?

Are there Going to be any issues if I swap out the original aerial for a shorter or stubby aerial?

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Thanks for this

Is it easy to fit?

Any issues with it? Is DAB reception ok?

I've had this on my current 2022 and previous 2019 MX5

Straight forward to install and no issues with reception

Had my 2018 MX-5 for nearly four years now, and the only change I've made to mine was fitting a stubby aerial biggrin

Enjoy the wonderful MX-5...! smile

Can I just check, do I literally just unscrew the current aerial and screw the stubby on? It’s not more complicated than that is it?

Just unscrew the old one anti-clockwise and put the stubby on clockwise - nicely handtight smile
