The AC on our 2004 Arctic 1.8 has never worked in our ownership. Garage told me it would need a new condenser. Haven't been able to find one online. Can anyone point me in a useful direction? Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure why I put compressor in the title, I meant condenser, might explain the forum silence laugh

Hi, condensers are the radiator like thing that sit in the airflow & compressors are little pumps that are driven off the crank via a belt.
There’s a breaker that might help

Aha so maybe my subconscious was kicking in, tbh I'm not sure what the fault is. From memory, a hopeful regas worked for a day or so, suggesting the refrigerant had disappeared, so I'm guessing that means it's the condenser?

Maybe it means that you have a leak somewhere?
I'm not really familiar with the airco system, but possibly a gasket, an o ring, etc.
