I believe you need brackets in order to fit a windblocker with a brace - search davefab mx5 on Ebay
Thanks - these I suspect: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273392518658?hash=item3...
which work on 'that' brace.
I am not sure it would on a stock barace like mine.
I will contact them
I added a standard Mazda mk2.5 wind blocker to my mk1 - fitted no problems even with the brace bar, and all the holes already existed. It actually sits in front of the brace bar but doesn’t reduce seat travel (but that might be because I have the 2-piece seats).
I first tried a mk2 wind blocker but upgraded it to one from a mk2.5 because it has speakers which direct sound straight through the gap between the seat and head restraint, which produces a decent improvement in audio too!

thanks -
I have the MB windblocker, and it too sits in front of the brace. Taking it out allows a few more inches of recline, which is my goal.
The reality is a new lovely Raid steering wheel is a little smaller in diameter, meaning it blocks the top of the instrument binnacle. I'm trying to lower my line of sight by getting lower in the car / reclined.
But- want to keep the wind blocker....
make sense?
