Bluetooth Calling on an NC??
Discussion
Seriously considering scratching a long term itch and purchasing an NC (2.0).
One of the things I must have is the ability to receive and make calls via handsfree. My last Mazda (a Maxda3 2009 sport) had the bose head unit with Bluetooth calling and audio streaming so I'm assuming the NC around the same time should do as well?
Having done quite a bit of googling I'm not so sure.....Is there a certain trim level/year that hands free calling was introduced on the NC?
Music streaming would be nice, but isn't a necessity. Also call me old fashioned but I prefer the look of a standard factory fitted head unit rather than an after market one. I know this is an option but I'd prefer to keep it standard if possible.
Thanks!!

Our 2010 2.0 Sportstech had the Bose system with handsfree calling.
One of the things to note is that as the amps get old they fail and are costly to replace - so costly it's easier and cheaper to put ina modern system with full phone connectivity, allowing satnav/waze type stuff. We went Pioneer and a new twin Din facia.

Thanks Byker that's useful to know. One of the things to note is that as the amps get old they fail and are costly to replace - so costly it's easier and cheaper to put ina modern system with full phone connectivity, allowing satnav/waze type stuff. We went Pioneer and a new twin Din facia.
Early NCs, up to 09ish, like my 07 didn't have Bluetooth on any spec. Mine is a 2.0 sport with BOSE and it doesn't, well didn't! I've since fitted an aftermarket audio link system. I wasn't that particular of where I put the mic, it ended up in the cup holder in the center and does seem to work fine at sub 50 speeds with the roof down.
