Mx5 mk1 roof adjustment?

Can anyone advise me how to adjust the roof catches on my car as the passenger side one doesn’t easily engage?
All suggestions welcome.

I'd be interested in an answer to this one too, mine slips off the passenger side catch very easily so I've been considering a couple of new catches.

Where the latch is on the roof side, there should be a little flap(?) that you can pull down and under it is a slide pin.
You can turn it to adjust the distance of the latch, therefore how tight or loose the roof sits.

I found on mine even when at the closest setting, it was still rattling as it was slightly loose. I just put a few strips of tape on to pad it out a bit to fix mine.
