Should I replace bushings?
Discussion
So I’ve just bought some meister coilovers, and will hopefully be fitting them soon, however last year I went for an inspection at Skuzzle, to get a general look over of the car and one of the things Nick came back with was the bushings were a bit tired. I’m not a great mechanic but trying to learn. Is it worth the £350 odd to replace all the bushings? I would not be doing myself as I heard they can be a pain in the ass but I don’t want to waste money on a nice suspension setup with tired out parts.
I've just bought the same for my 1.8 NA. I'm fitting the coilovers myself but will replace just the droplinks and anti roll bar bushes and track rod ends for now. Plan is to enjoy the car for this summer and then take it off the road again when the salt hits the roads. I'll then have 3-4 months to replace the rest.
Once the original rusted bolts are off these cars are easy to work on.

If the car is a long term keeper and your pride n joy hobby then yes I'd say get it done at that type of price.
You've spent more on the coil overs, bushes are just as important.
It is a long term thing, so I’ll do exactly that, will keep this forum updated for anyone else doing this thanks You've spent more on the coil overs, bushes are just as important.
