MX5 NA stopped randomly.
Discussion
Hi All,
Hoping someone can help. Took my MK1 out today (been about a month since last used) and when stopping at a width restriction it just cut out, so I moved over out of the way, turned the lights and everything off. Put the immobiliser fob in and started the car again. It wasn’t like when you’re too slow to drop the clutch and the car judders, it just turned off and I only noticed because of two red lights, one saying battery charge and the other I can’t remember as was trying to get out of the way of traffic.
Is this immobiliser related? (Old Autowatch system) As in its cut in. I didn’t think battery/spark plugs as the car caught again straight away and run fine on the journey home.
Thanks
