Spare Wheel & MeisterR Coilovers
Discussion
I fitted a set of MeisterR coilovers recently. The downside to this and something I didn't anticipate is that the spare wheel no longer fits in its usual location.
I tried drilling a new hole in the spare wheel holder thing to offset the bolt hole, but it still fouls on the adjuster of the coilover.
Is there a common solution to this problem? Anyone got any creative ideas?

I had read that in order to keep the spare wheel you need to put the retaining bolt through one of the wheel stud holes instead of the centre bore hole.
I have also read that, but the spare wheel doesn't sit flush to the boot floor when you line up one of the wheel stud holes with the hole in the boot floor on my car. There's a 'ridge' on the boot floor that locates the spare wheel in the correct place. This results in the bolt being unable to reach the hole in the boot floor.I could get a longer bolt, but I think I'm happy to accept the risk of not carrying a spare wheel.
