Mk 1 Hot start problem

Father in laws 1993 Eunos starts ok from cold but when hot it will fail to start until it has cooled for 10 mins or so.
Any ideas where to start?
I'm guessing something is heat soaking but is it the coils or cam sensor etc.
I've not looked at it yet to check spark or pull the codes.

I've owned two different mk1s which had hot start probs. One was a cam angle sensor and one was a dodgy starter motor earth.

From my previous research a complete non-start is more likely to be electrical than fuel related.

Thanks, I purchased a cheap led code reader so will try it out over the weekend and report back.
Turns over fine when the issue happens so I suspect cam sensor.
