JDM NB advice

Hi all,
I have the chance to get a JDM NB 1.6 1997 with 90k
It’s the mother in law’s car.
She’s had it for 4 years and I helped her buy it (main dealer tech - so I have a good understanding and mechanical skills) it’s not rusty and Ive undersealed the hell out of it so I know body wise it’s ok.
However my MX5 knowledge isn’t great. I can tell you pretty much anything about mr2s!
I’ve had a quick look online for info but because it’s JDM I think some bits are different to our EU cars
I fancy it as it’s basically free and I’ve never had one
What I think I’ve found out it’s a 110bhp version as it’s jap? It’s a really early NB being a ‘97
It’s got ac but otherwise I think it’s a base model.
So my questions are,
Will it have an LSD?
Is it worth the usual air filter/exhaust or shall I just put the £ towards a turbo conversion.
It’ll end up being a weekend car so I’ll put some nice suspension on it, alignment etc
What is a decent fast road geo for these once lowered on coil overs? probably BC
Anything else I should know?

Google the 'Lanny alignment' for geo, its a good place to start.

I don't know for sure but I'd be surprised if a 1.6 has an LSD.
