30 day wait for new headlight unit!

I have been having intermittent Adaptive LED Headlight (ALH) warning lights on my 2019 UK GT Sport Nav+ spec ND over the last 6 weeks, car was purchased Sept 1st 2019. Eventually the warning light became permanent and I noticed that the OSF headlight wasn’t working so I took the car into the dealer suspecting that the unit has died.
Turns out that there are no ALH headlamp units in the UK, or Europe, and it’s going to take a month to get one shipped from Japan!! I suppose the ALH feature has only been on the top end cars and only since the ’19 MY but none the less this seems poor for a component that must fairly regularly need replacing due to accident damage.
Has anyone else found Mazda parts availability to be a bit patchy?!
