NA/Mk1 with ABS - the screenwash light is stuck on. Have tested and cleaned the sensor and it's showing fine on a multimeter/bench test, and I've filled it up until the cap. Pumps through liquid fine but the light is still illuminated. Any ideas besides pull the bulb? Is it possible to get an air lock in the reservoir or something that would cause the res not to fill but maybe the fill pipe?

Can you disconnect the sensor? If so, does the light stay on when it is disconnected?

Check the fuse, switch and wiring.

Just got around to posting this on PH after spending most of pre-lockdown trying to restore a WRX ready for japfest - sorry for the late response. Light stays off with the sensor unplugged - maybe the float in the sensor is buggered. Any ideas of where I can source a replacement sensor altogether? Having a hard time finding one from usual MX5 sources, wondering if it's a binned part that also fits a 323 or something?

Drop an email to MX5 Parts, they should be able to sort you out.
