Mk 3 2007 1.8ltr icon 108k mileage Mot History has loads of advisorys on last 4/5 most Cross member at gearbox severely corroded Quite a few corroded but not severely weakened
Listed at just over 2 grand Is it worth a look or will I end up spending loads on repairs
Sounds a bit of a mess for 12 years old. I have a 2007 2 litre which has had no advisorys and is perfectly fine, barring a couple of small areas of treated body rust.
If the m o t isn't going to expire tomorrow I'd get an inspection done by someone who has Mx5 experience and possibly make a low offer to cater for work required and then get the necessities done as and when .
