Hi ..... I want to supercharge my wife's MX5 - Its a 2005 mk2.5 (currently 146 BHP I think) on 23,000 miles. It already has some excellent modifications -

Upgraded, adjustable coilovers,
Upgraded brakes
TR Lane roll bar
200CPI sports cat and stainless sports exhaust
TOYO R888r tyres for the track and Rainsport 3s for the road.

I've been looking though all of the old forums about supercharging an MX5 ..... but most of the suppliers and kits are no longer available and the forum info is out of date.

Any thoughts / recommendations on CURRENT suppliers of MX5 supercharging kits?

Thanks in advance.

I have a SC mk2.5 which I use for sprints & hillclimbs for the past 3 years . Take a look at Salon Motorsport, they supply a basic kit. You need to source an Eaton M45 (I found eBay has a few): If you need a refresh, Powerhouse in Chesterfield are specialists & good value (having found out the hard way).

EDIT- you’ll need an ECU too. ME221s seem to be popular also

You can get pretty much everything you need as a kit from
