MX5 mk2.5 immobiliser problems
Discussion
Hi,
Thanks for viewing my post.
My Mazda fails to start. When I turn the key in the ignition, the immobiliser light does not up and then disappears (which it should when working normally) so I am convinced it is to do with that (however could easily not be!). This problem came back after a very heavy spell of rain so I feel like it is connected, however I have looked in the footwell and cannot see any signs of damp.
Could it just be the antenna coil that has gone away?
The car used to crank with no fire, however it now just does nothing (with the ignition lights on).
PLease see video for further clarification and do let me know if you have any questions. I probably haven't been very clear!
