10th anniversary Miata edition.
Discussion
I think I'm in the lucky position to be buying a 1999 10 anniversary edition mx5.
It's a right hand drive, but a French registered one that's been in France for over ten years.
I can't find a spot of rust on its 28,000 mile chassis and it's paint is spot on along with the hood.
What else should I be worried about or look for please?

Check for rust and then check again. Check the alloys are still the super shiny ones. Check it’s got the 10th anniversary presents. Check it has the 6 speed gearbox. Then buy it and enjoy it.
No rust. 6 speed box it has and shiny original wheels. None of the presents have been mentioned. It's got a good history with it.I shall get it looking top top when I collect it,it won't be too difficult as its a very nice low mile example.
I assume it's in that lovely metallic red & has a chrome/stainless steel surround to the windscreen.
Nearly bought (the MX-5) version when new upon receiving a superb full colour photograph & launch information letter which I still have.
Chose not to as was annoyed it was not fitted with air conditioning or cruise control ( essential for long drives in our new hot weather climate) as later versions were. Is the Miata version i.e. yours so equipped?
