MX5 MK3 - swap soft top to hard top

Hi,

I’ve just bought an MX5 MK3 and want to swap the soft top for a hard top. I’ve already bought a second hand hard top, just need it fitting; can anyone recommend a decent garage to me? I’m based in Leicester.

It’s exceptionally easy to do, however I bet you didn’t buy the hard top fitting kit

It just clips on if you have the Frankenstein bolts on the rear deck. If it's going on permanantly you need the side brackets and associated plastic trim that goes right next to the seatbelts.
Literally a 20 min job to do everything. If all the brackets are already there it's just a job of lifting it on and closing the brackets. 2 mins
