Hi folks,

Considering replacing my clutch and rear main seal on my '95 1.8, just wondered if there's anything else on this list I should change at the same time if I'm dropping the gearbox? Looking to gain access to a lift and give a friend some beer and skids in exchange for blood sweat and tears to make this take a little less time (and a bit more fun). Car has a somewhat partial service history so looking to just overhaul it to know it's done for peace of mind (and document the whole thing).

- Clutch
- Spigot Bearing
- Flywheel Pilot Bearing
- Rear Main Seal (engine)
- Shift bushing
- Gearbox Oil
- Possibly a good idea to replace the diff bushings at the same time?

TIA! smile

Clutch slave cylinder might be worth doing. Fairly common on theses cars for it to leak and fail.

Full clutch kit, bang an skf 6202zz in the flywheel, new rear crank seal, clutch slave and full length Flexi to replace the fixed line. Gearshift boot kit at the same time and gearbox oil would make sense.

All of the above plus first motion shaft oil seal and cover gasket and gearbox tailshaft oil seal.
Gear change turret oil and gearshift bush worth considering.
Heater hoses , CAS O ring (Mk1) and water system blanking plug below and to the right of CAS.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe
