My wifes Auto Mk1 Eunos has it's cooling fans on all the time so I replaced the sensor at the the front of the engine on the thermo housing. My question to those who might know "Is there another sensor that can cause the fault?" I have swapped my MX5's relay with hers and that makes no difference and removing the relay just stops the passenger side fan.
Anyone help please?

There's another temperature sensor at the rear of the engine between the coil pack and heater hoses the is linked through the ECU the controls the fuel mixture and the function of the temperature gauge, it's a b'std to get to! Maybe a daft question but is the A/c on as this will cause the cooling fans to run.

You're welcome, having owned 3 and covered close on 400k miles in nigh on 20 years I've probably experienced most of the problems with Mk1's.
