About to buy new. Bilstein or not?
Discussion
Morning people, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new 2.0 MX-5 and am torn between specs.
I like the black trim of the SE-L Nav but it has not got the Bilsteins of the Sport Nav.
I can't seem to find any reviews of the 2019 SE-L so am asking does anyone have any opinions or information if the Bilsteins make any real world difference,
I test drove the sport-nav and loved it, a little scuttle shake even when driving normally but overall really liked it.
Thanks

Not driven the SE-L, but have had the Sport Nav + for a couple of weeks.
Don't really find the suspension too harsh, but having said that we had a Mini Cooper for 3 years and that was harsh.
The leather with red stitching is very pleasing to the eye, also the alloys are not as blingy as I thought they would be.
Had the garage demo for a trip to Germany, albeit the 1.5ltr RF, I couldn't warm to the Nappa leather

Had Bilsteins on my 2.0 NC Sport Venture. Very good and not harsh at all. Also have Bilsteins on my current RF Launch Edition, but I found the original springs to be too soft for my liking, so have fitted Mazda's suspension lowering kit, which has firmed things up nicely, without being harsh.
