Questions for those 'in the know'...
Discussion
Regretting selling my MX5 last year, and looking to replace it, so a couple of quickies that I am curious about.
1. Is the electric folding roof mechanism reliable on Roadsters - anything I need to look out for? (also - does it add extra weight/lose any boot space?)
2. Is the Powershift autobox reliable? Does it need regular fluid changes? Is it the from the same 'family' as the one in the Mondeo/Galaxy that gives problems at 120,000+ miles?
3. And finally - any recommendations for a mechanic to look after it in/around Rugby/Leamington please?
Many thanks, chaps!

My 08 2.0 mk3 has the electric roof (PRHT)
Cars now done 85k miles and ive had it for the last year or so and had no problems with the roof at all.
I did read before I brought it that they are generally reliable but if they go wrong it can be expensive.
I can't offer any help with the other two questions though.

1. the PRHT is reliable, adds about 40kg and you don't loose any boot space
2. no idea, try miata.net
3. Sam Goodwin in Nuneaton isn't too far
