Swapping Mk 2.5 parts into Mk 1

So like the title says, what parts can be taken from a Mk 2.5 and fitted to a Mk 1?

I have a 2.5 which is a bit tatty. It could be restored quite easily but I prefer the Mk 1's.

From the top of my head:
Hood/hardtop, brakes (I think this is done with the bigger Mk2.5 Sport brakes?), seats (mk1 seats in both cloth and leather fetch quite a bit of money if they're in good condition), wheels.
Quite a basic list and I'm sure someone will be able to give a more technical list, perhaps looking on MX5 Parts to see which parts fit both Mk1/2/2.5 might give you a better answer for specific parts

Dashboard fits too, suspension is interchangeable apparently but with the respective models top mounts.

It would be easier to say what doesn't swap!

Almost everything can be swapped over - even body panels and lights with a lot of fettling (I've seen a car with mk1 front end and mk2 rear). Certainly all of the mechanical bits are interchangeable, although there are a few compatibility issues depending on which bits you are and aren't moving over.
