New to the mx5 nc 2.0 on standard suspension (options pack). Problem is when accelerating hard, dip clutch and car darts to the left....tyres?bushes?suspension?,presumably not a common problem.I am about to change tyres to nangkangs and hoping this may help. Any input greatly appreciated before its first track day at castle Combe, end of March!

We see this everyday, getting the 'right' tyres and by that I don't mean the most expensive and a good alignment will sort this.

Agreed with the above. Decent tyres. I’ve never driven on nangkangs but I definitely rate toyo proxies. Tyre pressures, wheel alignment. If you’ve still got pulling to one side then you’ve got a bad ball joint, bush or suspension strut/spring.

As I mentioned on the other thread - on my NA this was caused by the rims , new tyres made no difference but swapping the wheels removed it completely. I would advise having the rims checked for straightness.

Nice one. My mk2.5 has been pulling to the left since I bought it a year ago. Had 4 new tires and 4 wheel alignment which I've had done twice now and it still pulls a bit to the left, or should I say turns easier left now rather than actually pulling also had a new pump. I will try swapping wheels before forking out for a rack
