Rear fog light not working, wiring seems a bit odd

Managed to trace the wire coming from the fog light to this mess under the centre console...

It goes from the light to that fuse holder, with three wires coming out into a switch next to the gear stick. I’ve tried using the switch in combination with the actual fog light switch but nothing seems to work. Anyone know much about this area of the wiring?

This is the switch it goes to, also just realised one one of the red wires inputs into the fuse relay thing, then another blue wire and a black wire which splits off into two come out from it

Update 2, the red wire appears to be connected to the cigarette lighter.... this keeps getting more and more strange

Did you already check the main fuse for the fog lights ?
Are there any voltages present on the bits shown in the photos ?
