Headlight upgrade bulbs for mk1 mx5 recommended

Anyone found a good headlight bulb to upgrade standard fitment on mk1 mx5?

I just fitted some Philips Racing Vision bulbs, not had a chance to test them on a dark country road yet but I can see a huge difference around town so I'm expecting massively better light output than the candles it was running!

Just to be sure. Do you have sealed beam units or are the bulbs replaceable? If sealed beam any standard Lucas type 7" (Land Rover style) replacement light will be a massive improvement with any halogen bulbs.

Osram Nightbreakers are good, and another step up is switching the entire light assembly for a raybrig version.
