NA Best Door Bushings?
Discussion
Afternoon all,
Had my NA for a couple of weeks now and absolutely loving it! It's recently been imported and it's in lovely condition.
Quick question, does anyone have any experience with door bushings? My doors do rattle a bit, I think its a mix of the soft stock door bushings as well as the window rail runners which are shot.
There seem to be two that i can get my hands on, which do you suggest?
The delrin ones - £30 fromm moss or these which seem super expensive?

The door bushings are identical for both sides. It will be the uppermost part which is worn as it takes the load of the door.
One simple method is to swap them over i.e. drivers side to passenger side and vice versa. This will mean that the "new" uppermost part will be unworn and should give less rattles.
Worth a try as it's free!

I bought the 'Delrin' ones you see advertised. Which are basically rock hard plastic with no movement at all. Apart from making the speakers sound a little better, the doors were still a little rattly - it solved some of the noise but not most of it. May be a case of just doing everything up really tight in/around the door to be honest...
