I had the enormous pleasure of running my hand gently over Nick Mason's 250 GTO at Goodwood FOS this year (in the paddock, not on the track ). My favourite car, I have a picture of one on the wall of my man cave at home.

Back in the day when I was on placement at ad agency Longleys and Hofmann in Brum the chairman, John Broad ran one as his daily driver.
It was an ex-race car and whilst we juniors would wait for him to leave work every night just to hear it rumble up from the under-ground car park most others regarded it as a bit of an old nail!
How times change!!
